🥇 BANNER After 21 years of detecting it FINALLY happened.....1st Gold Coin!!!!

Yup.....that's right.....after 21 years of detecting and digging what seems like a bazillion holes I finally popped my first gold coin!!! I won't bore you all with a long story.....I'll keep it simple....

Chuck Norris kicked the mountain's butt and took its gold....then the mountain came back for more and I took its silver too....the end

This is where I was hunting...

1925-D 2 1/2 dollar Indian.....its a little worn and has a few scratches and dings but I don't care

Went home and showed my wife and then my buddy called so I met him at an old school yard for a little spin.....didn't really care what I found...but found a few pesky wheats, a Buffalo nickel and a cocaine spoon...old dog tag and ball button are from the earlier woods hunt

Got a tribe if injuns......the HARD way....just the way Chuck Norris likes it

i found that in my first month of detecting

Your taking the piss. You should give up & go home. Dad & I have had well over 10,000 Roman bronze coins & I forget how many silver (several hundred). But even after 40ish combined years of hunting we still need a Roman Gold or Saxon, both in the top 5 Wish List! I'll take it any-day - CONGRATS GOLDEN BALLS>

Congrats,you deserve that gold coin as you found the only virgin spot left on that tick infested mountain.
You are right about that place being pounded, here is a cool story. And old timer I met about 15 years ago told me back in the mid 1960s hunting that mountain when detectors got good him and his buddies would have to go back to the car at least once a hunt. They were so loaded with silver coins from the fields.
