THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

Looks like we are gonna kick this Hurricane Season off with a possible doosey.

Throw it in the fishing tackle.

I would take a bit to hook up the leader, but it might be a fish bling.

Here's classic fish story.

The Mrs is on the dock having coffee and these fellows arrive at the park to fish.
We've chatted for years and as the father was chatting with the Mrs he latched onto a 2 lb bass.
The mrs yelled over to him that she would take him a couple pounds of burger.
So she got a cleaned descaled bass-for 2 lbs of burger. Dinner was great!

Downside to this is "You should be fishing Jim"
This came from our friends that came for a swim and a bit of fishing......
I just said at the moment that would feel like another thing I need to do-kind of plate full.....
Easier to do trades....:laughing7:

GMorn everbody, 66 feels cool, mid 80’s isn’t bad either.
Edit the Ft. Rob. horse numbers, not 50 but 15k. My note on the pic says 50 but after www to read about, 12-15 is what official numbers say.
Bart, does anyone ever catch or spear any of those smaller “bluegill” or little bigger sized fish? Some of those all black and others, look like eaters to me. That wreck is just for swimming around and looking at?
WD your shed really looks nice. Is there a cemetery behind it? You might be able to clean up your gate with a “brass wheel” or “buffing wheel on a drill? I think looks good as is.
Have a great day!

Scraping barnacles probably.......supposed to go and dive the wreck of the Lugano, and the Mandalay. Weather is bad and there's alot of thunder storms right now. We canceled are trip yesterday. Maybe we'll get to go today.

Scraping barnacles does not sound fun! They don't keel haul ya, do they?
Hopefully the weather will clear up for ya!

Plenty good eaters....we treat those smaller fish like blue gills....scale, gut, clip fins , and fry/cook !! My favorite is grunts and grits. Small bright fish...delicious on a bed of grits with an egg on top !! Island breakfast !!

Bart... heads up my Florida friend...

Something wicked this way comes.

Click bait :laughing7:

Man runs to back of cave-rolls boulder in front of opening....

Too early for these storms and it seems that they get stronger as things get warmer every decade. The cycles are shorter now-and that's not a good thing.
The fire chief in Penticton BC stated that the threat of fire is so high right now that he warned folks out hiking, walking, camping-"Not to fart" :laughing7:

Hope it misses you Bart-but you'll have to prepare as usual-like you don't have enough things to do in life-right?

I know how that goes. We hardly fish our pond anymore. It is on my to do list, though.

Morning Bill

Thanks, Fat. Yes, it is a cemetery. The location of the shed was intentional because some of the stuff I dig up may have been some of their stuff. I plan on cleaning the finds up and hanging them on the outside of the shed. Some stuff will be displayed on the inside. If you are interested, here is a brief history of the cemetery: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=5523247

Thanks for the tip, too.
