Click bait :laughing7:

Man runs to back of cave-rolls boulder in front of opening....

Too early for these storms and it seems that they get stronger as things get warmer every decade. The cycles are shorter now-and that's not a good thing.
The fire chief in Penticton BC stated that the threat of fire is so high right now that he warned folks out hiking, walking, camping-"Not to fart" :laughing7:

Hope it misses you Bart-but you'll have to prepare as usual-like you don't have enough things to do in life-right?

Hmmm... what about me foo.. ?

IF it hits me as well silly wabbit.

Sheesh... hard to find a loving caring crew these days.

:P

Looking at a boat to buy, what ya think ? 004.webp003.webp002.webp001.webp006.webp

So the capt'n doesn't feel left out....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Good luck ARC, Bart and the rest of the Fl crew with potential incoming storm(s).

........ that boat looks great. Does the cobra have a hitch?

That might work out okay for a beginner just starting out or maybe an experienced bass fisherman, but when you graduate to catching walleye and northern pike you will find that all the experts use a $100 leaky skiff with a five horse.

Roger says the walleye on his lake are hard to catch. Or maybe it was very few.

A boat for what? How many bodies?

That would be a fun runabout for one person. Fishable too , to a point. Two persons if they get along well.
It's glass. So jumping sandbars and beaching on rocks is out...
A good starter boat as mentioned. Trailering (never trust a wheel bearing till you know it's condition and maintenance) would be easy. Launching too , (glass , beware of concrete and hitting docks too hard) .
Storage during off season space requirements. Slip size if renting...
A cover well designed and vented would be desired if I was involved.
A check of the keel , transom , bilge and bilge pump(s) too.
Battery bank (condition and charging set ups) and isolation between starting vs trolling and house hosting accessories battery with fishfinder isolated from motors too...

Lousy time to be buying a boat. Sellers market. And as usual , I must ask why would someone sell you (me) a good sound horse?

It's not too soon to head North....

Hey Wannadig, you are a fisher right?

How do you catch your 'eyes? Do you usually troll or cast?

I catch most all of mine casting a crawler harness. Most folks can't hook up casting harnesses because walleye tend to follow the path of the bait after they strike. No tap, it feels just like weeds. When the lure slows, lift the rod tip a foot or two. If the weeds don't let go then set the hook. If you don't set it quick you will miss your chance.

I've gotten some bigger ones trolling flicker shad at night too.
