The creek below the house can be tame or deadly. Spring runoff we can hear the water inside the house.
The 2 photos were just 2 months May/March apart.View attachment 2226374View attachment 2226375
The claim is this was a route for 10,000 years. One kettle point, nothing else not even a chip.
I would set up a sluice box in that creek. Beautiful for sure !

The trees are starting to show their true colors.

Very nice!

The trees here are going straight from green to brown for the most part. Probably from lack of water (despite the rain yesterday).

We has our first big rain yesterday 1.75 inches.

Canadian Rain could refer to a signature cocktail served at the Botanist restaurant in Vancouver, which was inspired by the city's climate and rainforest surroundings. The vodka-based drink includes cherry blossom, yuzu, pine, and fennel pollen. It is topped with an edible, floating "rain cloud" that slowly "rains" into the cocktail. Or maybe I'm drunk and making stuff up.

No gold reported in my part if the world, then again :dontknow:
Try. There's a place here in Victoria that is well away from any goldfield. No history of anything there. A guy showed me a jar of gold he had found there on his farm there. He just eyeballed the bits after rain.

Flame thrower or 3 ?
Mmm.... the Green hornets car. Id like it when clueless clowns are driving their big rigs with giant vans at 30ks under the limit hogging the road so you can't overtake oblivious to their surrounds. 😁

I think a couple of modern gattling guns....

Aka : A-10's GAU-8 30 mm rotary cannons.

....might be more impressive. :angel12:

Drained crankcase and hydraulics on a Farmall Cub and pulled the hydraulic pump that leaks into the crank case.
Benched it and looked it over.
One more step would have been required to totally tear it down.
Absent parts and seals I put it back together and reinstalled it.
But I know what it looks like inside now. And how to remove it.

Found an oil filter in one of the parts boxes. Get some oil tomorrow and be a step closer to trying to bring it back to life.

Adjusted fuel strainer shut off on the other Cub that was leaking and when it didn't leak I climbed on the chair to look in the empty tank.... Doh!
Should probably get some more rec fuel apparently. And diesel for the other tractor.
