I'm looking at an auction and the seller was claiming the a lot was a certain pair of gold coin cufflinks.
Now just in a 5 minute search I was like WTF

Gold coins/medals are sometimes weighed in Ducats which is .9999 purity.
The seller stated 4 ducats, showing the measurement of 3/4"
The 1 ducats is that measurement

Huge difference in scrap value like $4000.00
I questioned it, put my findings up on the public Q&A
The lot was pulled.

This morning I did a couple of other lots 1 lot was a 18K Egyptian Cartouche The guy has posted up 3 different items (pictures) all claiming it's 18K. The scale picture has a plain back, the gold stamp photos are grubby looking plated silver.

Another lot claims it to be a 14K Candlestick phone pendent (charm) it's gold plated.

The guy is a fraud and certainly 3 strikes I believe he should be out.

It really burns me to see crap like this happening, greed simple as that.
Now that gold and silver is high the slim balls in life come slithering out to profit off the unknowing.

It's one badge of honour I ware is honesty in dealing with metals and precious metals. Purity/weight/price
Anything else is basically fraud.

Once in a while we have an invasion of lady bugs at our house. Every year it’s a different bug

If they have a v symbol marking on the head then they're Asian Lady bugs. The NA Lady bugs don't have the markings.

The Asian lady beetles like to come inside, too. Lady bugs not so much. We sometimes get little clusters of the orange invaders in the shed in the spring. And yes, the Asian ones bite.

Out the gate as soon as dog dishes were done to catch a sale on something noted for her by her last summer.
(Stopped yesterday to check on limited inventory.)
Just happens some industrial shelving was on sale too. Which fit truck bed while a very large cardboard box rode tilted on the hitch hauler and strapped down.

A great plan except the rain this morning. Forecast said a shower around 5 A.M.. Nice try folks ...
All is well. Wiped down and in the pole barn.
Dogs finally got to help me with my breakfast toast.

About time you refitted the ship with a new galley, wheel, and cannon ports.

Now what about the broken hatch latch on the rum locker, that ... broke.

Not throwing any gold chain pirate under the ship, not is I to whisper such a yarn. But we'z have heard through the bilge'r folks thar it was he that pillaged the rum rations.

not sure which type we get hopefully none next year. Earwigs, Lady bugs, spiders, centipedes, crickets and mice once in a while. Ohh once was rollie pollies

I haven't seen those invasive ones around here though apparently they are in Australia. I read they are harmful to dogs if they get in their mouth releasing a toxin.
