This guy is my researcher dude for a few .........

Its hard to gauge how good things are or are not until they've been used for a season or two. Bit like cars. The writers get one smick brand new and do a write up how good they are and buy buy buy, just to see review sites 6 months to a year later with flooding posts of issues actual owners are experiencing wishing they'd never got them.
Is there an American made one available?

The you tube review is pretty good, he goes over the construction and almost every detail. I have a friend that converts trommels to gas engine power.... That's what we were thinking anyway.

They're annoying when detecting and are roosting and nesting where you are.

Then might I suggest you stay away from them during the hours they are out detecting.

They can be in flocks of anything upwards of 30 and even with headphones on you can't hear a thing but them. Iv yelled at them often to shut up but I think it just eggs them on. 😄

Just happened on the road to my place, can these people get the fuck atta the way ? or help ? I have to walk a couple miles to get my backhoe.... if that little tractor cant do it. Gloves on !!!!!

I went back down river a few miles to get my motorcycle at a friends house.... then he wanted to go help unload another friend's crab catch ! Still at the port !!

The two tiny bits I got last week. When I was taking the picture of them on my hand I laughed how small they were and went to put them on my finger tip for another picture and one rolled of my finger onto the floor, that stopped me laughing. I had to wait till the sun went down then get my pocket torch and shine the light flat across the floor (best way to find small things dropped). I found it, then it fell from my fingers under the skirting board gap, 😆 I got a stick of my misses incense and carefully scraped my way along and under it and got it. 😁

Yes it is primarily designed for the small gold in the worst ground.
Id still be hunting the actual nuggets if I could like I used to.
Don't have to go outback to get them. All of our Victorian goldfields are accessible to anyone and is world famous for nuggets.

Know this guy well. Syd Pearson. Thats from where I lived yrs ago in Maryborough.
