Another late afternoon Hello all! Some nice sun earlier in the day. By mid-afteroon it was clouding up heavily. Been very windy most of the day with a break around the noon hour. Wind coming up again now. Temperatures were in the mid 50'sF. Not too bad of a day!

Yep the Biltmore house. Had to see the Tutankhamen exhibit and so I made the best of it. I’ve never seen the house either. At 27, George Vanderbilt was crazy to have the means of building such a monstrosity of a place was an unreal accomplishment.

Fished out of Willy boats a bunch of times...nice boats and they handle well.
Looks like a beautiful spot to put in..but definitely some cold water! Chasing
winter run wild steelhead ain't for wimps...

Don't know what ya found, but somebody took a rather large dog for
a walk down that beach. Dog was on a leash.

I'd love to have a place like that to detect..ones imagination goes into
high gear thinking about what might lie just beneath that top layer...
