Had a lawyer meet up regarding a power company and the damage they did a few years back. They want to start working on the power line again. Frigging drama. :BangHead:

But I went thrift store buying, brightened up the mood.

Had a meeting in a city an hour away so why not get some thrift store gleaming in also. Sally-Ann was good for some cheap silver plate and a few grams of .925. I kind of did better at the other thrift store. Bought some sterling charms and 2 bangles, chain, big filigree earrings. Total weight...

I don't know what day it is at the best of times.
Got up early though today to get a blood test. Someone was fortunate I did because when I came out of the pathology to my car a large Cockatoo landed on someone's brand new SUV, easy $100,000 worth, and started to try to bite off bits of the rear section railing. I went over to it to scare it off and it tried to bite me as I did. Finally got it to move and it then jumped on my car about to have a go at my roof railing. Had no fear the mongrel thing. They're so destructive, they get an idea in their head and they go ocd about it. Im sure today it'll be having a go again on someones car.

That's Cockatoo's exactly the same when they get something into their head to destroy. For sure the Kea are worse in frequency of attacking cars though. Normally the choice for Cockatoo's are wood like window frames and deckings on houses. But they will now and then get it into their heads cars. This one I doubt will ever give up on them. Instead of flying into the big gumtree above with a few others, it faced me off inches away from my hand shooing it off trying to bite my fingers. Crossed my mind for a second to get the phone out but for a cool vid I'd be letting it damage someones car, long sharp claws too, for sure there would have been a few scratches on that cars paintwork. Thankfully never landed properly on mine.
Mostly in towns like here they're occupied eating the seeds and pods on our native trees. They seem to have different sort of characteristics from place to place, some places they are more destructive than others. Its not food related. I personally just think they're the most fruit loop birds we have here.
