Arrgh! I'm back from the chase though empty handed save for a report-

The elusive It seems to hail from a port in the vicinity of Hamburg, where I lost sight of It in town. I tried to oar my way back to our ship, Capt. AARC, but curse the moon the tide and wind was against me. So, I held up my thumb hoping to attract an albatross but there was none to be found. Finally a pair of kindly frigate birds took pity on me and offered a tow. I scuttled the dingy and rode them back here.

Now if I may be excused Captain, I need to locate some fishes to repay these frigates for their generosity. Sorry about the dingy. Perhaps ship's carpenter Black Bart might build you a new one?

Hey, welcome back Oregon Viking! Arrgh, it's nice to see you in good spirits. Speaking of spirts, check with the damsels for your daily rum ration.

Great songs from a great era pepperj... thanks!

AlbertaClipper,

If you're a CW fan we won't hold it against you....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: speaking of heavy metal music this old rock song is probably one of the forerunners to that sound.

I saw them live when they opened for the Who in Montreal.

Had a young hen standing on the edge of one of the laying boxes belting out the warning cry, a few other hens looked over at her going on and on like she was in trouble.
The roosters didn't even look up from their feeding so I watched, went over calmed her down.
We went in after the nightly walk around, and there was an egg as big as Pips, even a tad longer in size. If it was the same young one, I can see why she was a complaining, that was a huge egg to be putting out.:laughing7:

George the big white rooster had a bit of neck blood on his feathers yesterday morning, so I guess he mixed it up and lost again, water container tipped over, so they really had a tumble.
Might have to put one into segregation soon if it keeps up.

Mornin all!

P.J. : I've had no good come of having more than one rooster with a small flock.
And separating them just made them holler more.

I have to drop over the side and answer the...stupid phone, it gets jealous when I'm on the tablet on TNet!

WHADIFIND I will try to "save" me next log in...we'll see how that goes:laughing7:

Well......!?!?!??!??!?

I agree 100%! All of my favorites!

Oh I think it was a song that one would play when out to a little parking and hoping to have a play......

Not that I ever had any musical talent, but remember my Mom insisting that my older brother had to learn the accordion and I had to learn the piano. Now this was pre-Beatles, so we were learning classics like 'Lady of Spain" and "Camptown Races" or whatever.

It sucked to have to be in the house practicing hours before the next lesson when my other brothers and buddies were outside playing baseball or hockey. Finally, my Dad says we can stop, it's just not in our blood.

Then the Beatles hit the shores and all music changed.
