you're totally right,, not an ounce of irony in sight...I dont consider making a few hundred dollars on an ounce of gold "making money".
Astral... what i think you are missing to my point is.
Its not guaranteed... and subject to change.
IT can and goes the other way too.
IF you bought 10 ounce gold rounds for 25,000 several years ago and sold them today ... then you made some money.
But..........
That 25000 then... is equal to the sale price of today.... in buying power.... get it ? ? ?
So if you could buy... back then.... 25,000 loafs of bread with that 25k...
Today... after selling that same gold... you would be ONLY be able to buy 25,000 loafs of bread TODAY.
Roughly.
You might have a few dollars left over
