I blew the pump, or the drive splines out of the hydraulic pump on the Ford 5000.
Have to get over to the shop somehow now.
Remove the front of the loader to get to the pump.
Just lovely-not! :BangHead:

You could be pulling Coke can tabs instead.
I think I may have mislead. I *do* dig more than my fair share of trash. It's just that even the clad stuff has become on a par with it.

I mean.......not so much as a wheat cent anymore!.!?

It's just plain hard for me to *want* to go dig anymore. 🤷‍♂️😔

I'm feeling like there's no point anymore. I'm ready to hang it up......for good.

I feel that way at times. Relics where I am are scarce and its uninspiring looking for them as we have very little history where I am. I have virtually stopped bothering to go.
Id like another gold detector but im waiting to see what Noktas PI can do.

Good morning everyone. Happy Mothers Day.

Speaking of mothers, the bluebird mama will be spending the day teaching her babies to hunt -- the nest is empty! The last one left about 11:30 yesterday morning. Unfortunately the camera didn't catch their actual first flights, just them tottering in the doorway before making the leap. (It automatically records for about a minute when it detects movement, then waits a couple of minutes before detecting motion again. Their flights all happened in that wait time.). But here's the last one sitting in the doorway right before leaving. Hatched April 21, taking flight on May 10, so only 19 days from hatched to flight. They sure do grow up fast!

Our Eastern Phoebe is sitting on her nest once again this year.
Right up in the timber framing outside the door. This year she just looks down at us. Even Max barking doesn't have any effect on her.

Neat! We've got a pair that nested over the front door last year, and this year they're up under the eaves on top of a rain gutter downspout elbow. One of them likes to sit on top of a chair outside the window and watch us.

You guys dont think I would make or even use something like a wood ball mount do ya ?

Just a picture i caught online search for hitch crapola.

Me.... i am the type where if i need a hitch / ball for something that say weighs 3000 lbs... i wont go with anything lower than a 5000 lb rating.

I always over strength anything i do... i am of the mindset of "rather have more than enough than not enough"

Just the way i am... safety is paramount.
