Morning Fellas,:coffee2::hello: glad to see all are still kicking from the posts I've been able to catch up on. Doesn't take long to get out of the loop of things, but life can throw you curve balls at any time, am I right?
Not to bore you with my issues but I'm assuming most of you could relate to care taking at some form or another? I've been in that period of caring for family members these days. Just when I thought I was getting life in order to retire early, it's been the trickle effect of losing parents. 2 years now, losing one at a time, it's been the priority over any of my own endeavors. I guess I'm just wanting to hear the answer that "it's just a season"....
I guess i'm selfish in wanting to run do all the fun stuff on that bucket list, but I'm also not getting younger either. Oh well, I suppose I should use all my time wisely as they say?
Did manage to get a week of vacation in last week. Took 2 years but we managed. Bonita Springs, St. Simons island, and Fernandina Beach. If you've never been, I'd recommend looking into these places.
Have a great weekend crew. Off to house projects.

It is. All things pass. We’ve been down that road in my household this past year. It’s not fun, and I’m sorry you’re dealing with it.

Wife and I decided to take the boat out on the Colorado yesterday. The incidents started right away with the bimini top cover unzipping itself going down the road. We get to the launch ramp and I noticed one of the guide boards on the trailer is hanging by one screw.
We decided to fish a small cove, anchor down and after a couple of minutes the breeze stopped and the water went flat and I could see the anchor dragged up to an old submerged tree about 25 feet down.
Spent nearly an hour getting it free, went to motor out of there and the motor just raced at throttle above 1200-1500rpm. Something got sucked up in the impeller (jet boat). The water is waaaay too cold to dive in and investigate. Had to go back to the ramp at 5mph for 12 miles.
Pulled it out of the water and slid under to take a look...ziplock sandwich bag splayed out in front of the impeller. Doh!
Gave up, went home, drank beer.

Congrats on getting out! (Both directions.)

Time heals, though we never forget.

I had 5 family members over a 10 year period pass away.
My mother was last to pass 14.5 yrs ago.

In discussions with others it seems that when the passing happened repeatedly over a certain span of time.
One has difficulty in healing process.

So in other words, a typical day on the water!

Sky was blue, as the water.
How was the air?
At least you had the triple hit score day.

That’s a shame, sorry you didn’t have a fun day
