PETER IREDALE SHIP WRECK 1906
In my collection of books I found a short article in a March 1963 Oregon Historical Quarterly of an account of the wreck of the Peter Iredale and a photo of the where the ship was grounded ashore on the Northern Oregon coast.
I know many photographers like to shoot the wreak but I'll bet not many know what the boat looked like.

Went to a newer park to metal detect because this is my one day off with have being 6 days on. So I said f it even if I find nothing it's better than staying inside on my day off. So off I went to detect not expecting too much. Didn't get much at first some homemade ring and then just junk for the longest time. Then dug a deep signal not expecting much and out pops a 1914 dime well crap when I'm not looking for them and in a place I'd not expect one pops up. Then right after bam a silver ring lol. Go figure, wasn't so bad at all.

Lol it's a pet tag. Got contact info and the pets name on the back. A ways from home it's a LA area code. So came hours from here

I laughed out loud when I found that tag. I was like welp looks like the world is trying to tell me something. It was at a point I wasn't finding anything so I was like well thanks lol

Got tired of flipping shit before I dug a plug.

I hit the small beach, lots of targets, so nobody has been there since I was there years ago.
